About Student Organizations & Leadership Education (SOLE)
Student Organizations and Leadership Education (SOLE) is here to support your organization's journey at Chico State! FAQs What is Recognition? Recognition is the process that clubs undergo at the start of each semester. This process makes sure that clubs are aware of not only the campus policy surrounding clubs but also gives students access to valuable resources, such as rooms and tabling spaces! How can I reserve tabling spots, classrooms, lawn areas, equipment, etc.? Once you are officially recognized, you can visit our front desk in BMU 220 from 8am-5pm on a daily basis. Also, you can call 530.898.5396 to speak with an Involvement Coordinator for help. How do I access my on-campus bank account/how does my on-campus bank account work? Once recognized, every student organization will have access to their club's on-campus bank account and various resources from the school, such as a card reader and money box. Visit the CatsConnect page at CSU, Chico Student Org. Financial Services. What is Revenue Sharing? Revenue Sharing is an opportunity for your club to earn extra money during AS elections every Spring. Each student is allotted $15 to donate to clubs ($15 to one club, $7.50 to two clubs, or $5 to three clubs). The money earned is not put into your bank account but in a separate account run by Associated Students. This account works via reimbursements, so remember to save your itemized receipts so that you can use this service. Application for the Student Organization Event Allocation Fund. Are you a recognized student organization and would like to apply for financial assistance with a special event or activity? Please complete the application form at least 2 weeks prior to your event.
