AIME MATE ROV Meeting

Join AIME's MATE ROV team as we design, build, and program an underwater robot for the international MATE ROV Competition! Our ROV is built to complete underwater challenges inspired by real-world problems, bringing together mechanical design, electronics, programming, and hands-on fabrication. The team is divided into three groups - Mechanical, Electrical, and Software - so there are plenty of ways to get involved. Mechanical works on the ROV's structure, buoyancy, manipulators, and other physical systems; Electrical develops and maintains systems such as power, thrusters, and onboard electronics; and Software develops the controls, ROS 2 integration, and other systems that allow us to operate the ROV. Meetings are open to anyone interested in getting involved, regardless of experience level. Come meet the team, learn about the ROV, and find something you'd like to work on!
