Astronomy Club Meeting

About this event

The Astronomy Club is meeting on the second Wednesday of every month. In each meeting we will have a short introduction, followed by a talk from a professor on different subjects in astronomy. After the talk we will then give updates on the different projects the club is working on (current projects include: radio telescope, geo-caching, fixing planetarium). After each meeting, the following Friday or Saturday some members will go the Observatory in Bidwell park when it is dark out and use telescopes to see different things in the sky. Once it gets dark out during our meetings, we will also bring out some telescopes.
