For Students, By Students (Guillermo Diaz)

About this event

For Students, By Students 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Featuring Guillermo Diaz For Students, By Students is a student-led conversation focused on the real stories behind growth, leadership, and finding your place on campus. Guillermo will share his journey from being a 300-pound student dealing with diabetes, uncertainty, and four major changes to becoming the Competitions Manager for one of the nation's largest collegiate sales programs and the President of a Latino professional networking organization . The conversation will cover the setbacks, mindset shifts, opportunities, and relationships that helped shape that journey. More than a success story, this event is meant to create an honest space for students to talk about struggle, identity, involvement, and what it takes to keep moving forward. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, connect with other students, and leave with a better understanding of how much can change when you stay open to growth and community.
