Graduate Student Assembly

About this event

Join the Council of Graduate Students (COGS) for the Graduate Student Assembly on Wednesday, October 14, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in BSS 101 or online via Zoom! Every Chico State graduate student is an equal and voting member of the Graduate Student Assembly. If you show up, you have a voice—and a vote! The evening will feature the President of the Associated Students discussing AS priorities and advocacy for graduate students, followed by Sarah Lehner from the Office of Graduate Studies with important information about graduation processes, deadlines, Advancement to Candidacy, the Graduation Clearance Form, and more. The Assembly will conclude with an open graduate student discussion and vote on the General Topic of Consideration: "This Assembly believes that Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is a net good for the classroom and academic environment." Come learn, ask questions, share your perspective, and help shape the official voice of Chico State's graduate student community. All graduate students are welcome. All graduate students have an equal voice. All graduate students get a vote.
