Children of Men is a sci-fi action adventure set in a dystopian future in which two decades of worldwide infertility has led to chaos and societal collapse. Those seeking asylum make their way to the United Kingdom, but are instead imperiled by threats of detention or deportation. In the film, a British bureaucrat-turned-reluctant activist (Clive Owen) finds hope when he becomes the protector of the world's only pregnant woman, a refugee named Kee (Clare-Hope Ashitey).
